Ritudhara (ऋतुधारा) is Sanskrit for "flow of seasons." It's a privacy-first menstrual cycle companion made by Mahakarshan, built for Indian women — in their language, on their terms.
Our mission
We believe every woman deserves a cycle tracker that feels like a trusted companion, not a clinical dashboard or a data-harvesting product. Ritudhara exists to make menstrual health awareness accessible, private, and culturally grounded — starting in India, in the languages Indian women actually speak.
Mahakarshan
Mahakarshan is the company behind Ritudhara. We build technology that respects the people who use it — starting with the assumption that privacy is architecture, not an afterthought, and that "made in India" should mean built for India first, not translated for it later.
Ritudhara is distinct from Tanaya, a product by SystemOnSilicon Corp.
Product philosophy
- Offline-first. Your data lives on your device unless you choose otherwise.
- Indic-first. Bengali, Hindi, and Kannada aren't translations bolted onto an English app — they're the primary experience.
- No shame, ever. Irregular cycles get confidence ranges, not judgment.
- Structural privacy. Tamper-proof consent records and a cloud backup even we can't read — not just a privacy policy nobody reads.
